Promethazine Hydrochloride (brand name Monargan) 25 mg tablets are primarily used as an antihistamine, anti-nausea medication, and sedative. The active ingredient, promethazine, works by blocking histamine receptors in the body and affecting certain areas of the brain. 

Hydroxyzine is used to help control anxiety and tension caused by nervous and emotional conditions. It can also be used to help control anxiety and produce sleep before surgery. This medicine is also used to relieve symptoms of allergic conditions (eg, chronic urticaria and atopic and contact dermatoses).

Doxylamine is used in the short-term treatment of insomnia (difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep). Doxylamine is also used in combination with decongestants and other medications to relieve sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion caused by the common cold.
